The Team

 

Vicki SkeelsVicki Skeels RHAD FSHAA, managing director, began her career in Audiology in 1977 with the NHS in Colchester. She subsequently worked in hearing research at Nottingham University and as Head of Audiology at Northampton General Hospital. Vicki gained her private qualifications in 1988 and practised independently off Harley Street and for a leading manufacturer in New Zealand, before returning to Colchester and establishing The Hearing Care Centre in 1998. Vicki is a member of BAA, AIHHP and a Fellow of BSHAA. She is a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser and has previously served as dispenser representative on The Hearing Aid Council, the regulatory body for registered hearing aid dispensers. Vicki is also a registered clinical physiologist.

 

 

Janine Gardner

Janine Gardner RHAD FSHAA has been with The Hearing Care Centre since its establishment in 1998, during which time she passed her Hearing Aid Council examinations with merit. A Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, Janine is a Fellow of BSHAA and has a particular interest in technical developments in hi-tech digital hearing aids.
Mary Youngman RHAD FSHAA is a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, Fellow of BSHAA, and also holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology. Prior to joining us in 2005, Mary spent several years in practice at a prestigious West London hearing aid clinic. While enjoying all areas of audiology, she gains particular satisfaction from the rehabilitative process with her clients.
